Larry Urban, P.E., R.P.L.S.

Mr. Urban was licensed to practice in January 1965 and became co-founder of Urban Engineering in April 1965.  Since that time, he has conducted the practice of civil engineering as a partner in this firm.

Among projects Mr. Urban has undertaken have been water treatment, transmission and supply, namely: investigation for water recovery and treatment for the City of Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico; investigation for treatment of wastewater effluent for portable use, SAPAL of Leon, Mexico; water treatment and filtration, City of Three Rivers; and the Lake Texana Pipeline.

Other projects Mr. Urban has undertaken have been land planning; engineering financial analysis; and construction management for subdivisions, shopping centers, industrial complexes, roads, airports, marine improvements, dredging projects, and wastewater treatment facilities and drainage systems.

Of special interest to Mr. Urban has been the planning, design and construction supervision of planned community developments, especially recreation oriented developments containing golf courses, marinas, tennis facilities, etc.  These have ranged in size and complexity from a few hundred acres to complete communities for up to 50,000 residents encompassing several thousand acres.
