Corpus Christi Southside Water Transmission Main

This 41 million dollar project will be the backbone of the City’s water supply for years to come. The multi-phase project will improve the water supply for Corpus Christi’s rapidly growing Southside and Padre Island. The system includes large transmission lines, pumping stations and multi-million dollar storage reservoirs. A primary feature is a 60-inch diameter water main that begins at the O. N. Stevens Water Treatment Plant, located in Calallen, and eventually will connect with water distribution lines in Flour Bluff. This is one of the largest water projects the City has ever undertaken and shows Urban Engineering’s ability to handle large, complex projects.
